As Steve has left the band we are now auditioning for a fifth member.
The obvious would be a guitarist and if you’re an amazing player that’s great, but we’re also open to other musicians whether it be trumpet, violin or whatever. Just come to an audition and see how it goes.
Must be based around sheffield and be willing to rehearse around 2-3 times per week, plus gigs.

It’s a brass band documentary featuring our very own drummer Terry Brown. Only tonight he gets chucked out of Dinnington Colliery Brass Band cos he keeps coming to Dark Sparks rehearsals instead of theirs.
Tez was the star of the show in the last episode and tonight will be no different. There should be a fleeting Dark Sparks appearance when Tez tells us he’s been sacked by the brass band. Just don’t blink…

We are delighted to announce the official release of our brand new single, ‘Picture Without Sound’. Recorded at Sheffield’s very own Yellow Arch studios we have found that our new track has been deliciously recorded and mixed by Hawley producer/bass player, Colin Elliot – a big fan of the band.
Releasing this with a bang, we’ve hired The Harley and hand-picked 2 ace Sheffield supporting artists – Kalenko and Flamingo Love Parade. They are both renowned locally for their musicianship and great stage shows. Thats why we got them in!
