NME: "If Julian Casablancas had spent his youth in Swadlincote rather than Switzerland, he’d sound like singer Leigh Greenwood. All Bloc Party bass rumble and Interpol-style-guitar-shapes, you’d be advised to check out ace new single "Into the Dark".
High Voltage: “With jangly guitars, gloriously furious drums, vocal harmonies and contagious lyrics Dark Sparks could prove to be something quite special - 4/5."
